The Akuvox S562 is the entry-tier SIP indoor monitor designed to pair with Akuvox door stations (X912S, X915, R29, E12) in apartments and body-corporate buildings. PoE-powered, dual-ethernet, US + EU wallbox compatible — drops straight into existing back boxes during retrofit jobs.

Will the S562 work with an existing Akuvox door station?
Yes — the S562 speaks SIP 2.0 and pairs with X912S, X915, R29, E12, and the legacy R20-series. Mixed installs (S562 in some units, IT83A in others) work fine on the same building.
Does the S562 have a camera?
No — the S562 is a receive-only indoor monitor. The door station does all the imaging; the S562 displays the door-station video on its screen.
Can the S562 run on Wi-Fi?
No — S562 is wired ethernet only. For Wi-Fi indoor monitors, choose the IT83A.
What’s the difference between S562 and S562-S?
The S562-S variant adds a -42dB external microphone specification — useful where the unit is being installed in a high-ambient-noise location (lift lobby, foyer adjacent). Otherwise identical.
